Russia’s Trade with Turkey

In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Turkey totaled $9,054,464,319, up 81.28% ($4,059,625,535) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $7,446,613,345, up 100.99% ($3,741,634,917) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $1,607,850,974, up 24.65% ($317,990,618) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $5,838,762,371, a 141.76% increase ($3,423,644,299) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Turkey was Russia’s 6th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 7th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 4.3432% of Russia’s total trade (up from 3.6573% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Turkey was Russia’s 4th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 6th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 5.5826% of Russia’s total exports (up from 4.7105% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Turkey was Russia’s 10th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 2.1414% of Russia’s total imports (down from 2.2270% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

The major share of Russian exports to Turkey in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
