The top five Russia’s trade partners in North America in the 2nd quarter of 2018 were the US (4.0394% of Russia’s total foreign trade), Mexico (0.4268%), Canada (0.1887%), Trinidad and Tobago (0.1032%), and Jamaica (0.0323%);

The top five Russia’s export markets in North America in the 2nd quarter of 2018 were the US (2.6173% of Russia’s total exports), Mexico (0.4812%), Trinidad and Tobago (0.1600%), Canada (0.1100%), and Cuba (0.0445%);

The top five Russia’s import suppliers from North America in the 2nd quarter of 2018 were the US (6.6209% of Russia’s total imports), Canada (0.3316%), Mexico (0.3281%), Jamaica (0.0902%), and Puerto Rico (0.0811%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of North America in the 2nd quarter of 2018 over the 2nd quarter of 2017:

  • The share of Jamaica in Russia’s total exports declined 11.5-fold from 0.0046% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017 to 0.0004% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018;
  • The share of Canada in Russia’s total imports declined from 0.5733% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017 to 0.3316% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018.
