The top ten Russia’s export markets in Europe in the 3rd quarter of 2018 were the Netherlands (8.9820% of Russia’s total exports), Germany (7.4557%), Belarus (4.8765%), Italy (3.9426%), Poland (3.5990%), the United Kingdom (2.4271%), Finland (2.4135%), Ukraine (2.0628%), Belgium (1.7998%), and France (1.6823%);

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in the 3rd quarter of 2018 over the 3rd quarter of 2017:
- The share of the United Kingdom in Russia’s total exports declined from 2.9758% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017 to 2.4271% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018;
- The share of Croatia in Russia’s total exports rose 2.1-fold from 0.1369% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017 to 0.2938% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018;
- The share of Finland in Russia’s total imports declined from 1.6776% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017 to 1.3673% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018;
- The share of Belgium in Russia’s total imports declined from 1.3431% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017 to 0.9771% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018;
- The share of Romania in Russia’s total imports rose from 0.6683% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017 to 1.0103% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018.
