The major trading partners of Russia in Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2017:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were China (15.8678% of Russia’s total foreign trade), Turkey (3.6254%), South Korea (3.5973%), Japan (3.4384%), Kazakhstan (2.9210%), India (1.6668%), Vietnam (0.9699%), Taiwan (0.8547%), Uzbekistan (0.6168%), and Singapore (0.5813%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were China (10.1764% of Russia’s total exports), Turkey (5.2300%), South Korea (3.9186%), Kazakhstan (3.6122%), Japan (3.4584%), India (2.0186%), Taiwan (0.8333%), Singapore (0.7874%), Uzbekistan (0.7465%), and Vietnam (0.6280%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were China (23.8545% of Russia’s total imports), Japan (3.4104%), South Korea (3.1463%), Kazakhstan (1.9510%), Vietnam (1.4496%), Turkey (1.3736%), India (1.1730%), Indonesia (1.0082%), Taiwan (0.8847%), and Thailand (0.7071%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Asia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 over the 3rd quarter of 2016:

  • The share of Iran in Russia’s total exports declined 2.1-fold from 0.9351% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.4559% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Thailand in Russia’s total exports declined 3.4-fold from 0.3952% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.1160% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Vietnam in Russia’s total exports rose 2.5-fold from 0.2533% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.6280% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Turkmenistan in Russia’s total exports declined 2.1-fold from 0.1747% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0817% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Iraq in Russia’s total exports declined 2.1-fold from 0.1694% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0790% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Qatar in Russia’s total exports rose 8.8-fold from 0.0022% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0193% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Turkey in Russia’s total imports rose from 0.8392% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 1.3736% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017.
