The major trading partners of Russia in Europe in the 2nd quarter of 2019:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Europe in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were the Netherlands (8.1203% of Russia’s total foreign trade), Germany (7.0522%), Belarus (4.8950%), Italy (3.7739%), Finland (2.3234%), Ukraine (2.3166%), Poland (2.3078%), the United Kingdom (2.2709%), France (2.0181%), and Belgium (1.4473%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Europe in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were the Netherlands (11.9290% of Russia’s total exports), Germany (5.0281%), Belarus (4.7023%), Italy (3.4127%), Finland (2.7519%), the United Kingdom (2.6163%), Poland (2.4401%), Ukraine (2.4062%), Belgium (1.7251%), and Latvia (1.4198%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Europe in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were Germany (10.4903% of Russia’s total imports), Belarus (5.2223%), Italy (4.3873%), France (3.2433%), Ukraine (2.1645%), Poland (2.0831%), the United Kingdom (1.6840%), the Netherlands (1.6512%), Finland (1.5957%), and the Czech Republic (1.5276%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in the 2nd quarter of 2019 over the 2nd quarter of 2018:

  • The share of the Netherlands in Russia’s total exports rose from 9.2617% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 11.9290% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Germany in Russia’s total exports declined from 7.5033% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 5.0281% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Poland in Russia’s total exports declined from 3.5733% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 2.4401% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Belgium in Russia’s total exports declined from 2.1773% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 1.7251% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of France in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.5935% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 1.2968% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Denmark in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.0693% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 0.6619% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Norway in Russia’s total exports rose 4.0-fold from 0.2846% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 1.1481% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Portugal in Russia’s total exports rose from 0.1638% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 0.3225% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Montenegro in Russia’s total exports rose 8.8-fold from 0.0012% in the 2nd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0106% in the 2nd quarter of the 2019.
