The top ten Russia’s export markets in Europe in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were the Netherlands (10.0451% of Russia’s total exports), Germany (5.9551%), Belarus (5.0433%), Italy (3.3977%), Poland (3.3246%), the United Kingdom (3.1213%), Finland (2.3878%), France (1.3726%), Ukraine (1.2191%), and Belgium (1.2106%);
The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Europe in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were Germany (10.7919% of Russia’s total imports), Belarus (5.2383%), Italy (4.5415%), France (3.2956%), Poland (2.0755%), Ukraine (1.9521%), Finland (1.6598%), the Netherlands (1.6192%), the United Kingdom (1.6007%), and the Czech Republic (1.4481%).
The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in the 3rd quarter of 2019 over the 3rd quarter of 2018:
- The share of Germany in Russia’s total exports declined from 7.4557% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 5.9551% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of the United Kingdom in Russia’s total exports rose from 2.4271% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 3.1213% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Ukraine in Russia’s total exports declined from 2.0628% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 1.2191% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Belgium in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.7998% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 1.2106% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of France in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.6823% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 1.3726% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Switzerland in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.4286% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 1.0280% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Hungary in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.3019% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 1.0114% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Norway in Russia’s total exports rose 3.2-fold from 0.2655% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.8471% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Macedonia in Russia’s total exports declined 7.0-fold from 0.0084% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.0012% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Finland in Russia’s total imports rose from 1.3673% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 1.6598% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019;
- The share of Romania in Russia’s total imports declined from 1.0103% in the 3rd quarter of the 2018 to 0.5776% in the 3rd quarter of the 2019.
